Caddo Velo Classic CRITERIUM - March 30, 2019

All riders from juniors to professionals compete in criteriums throughout the day on a 0.72 mile tight, technical course through Downtown Shreveport. Races begin with the junior category, culminating in the early evening with the Pro/1/2 men and women racing in pursuit of a $10,000 purse for men and a $10,000 purse for women. Prior to the Pro events, we are hosting a “Kids Ride” free to children 10 and under. There will be a total of eleven races, by category.

Caddo Velo Classic GRAN FONDO - March 31, 2019

This ride is a community ride, open to all riders, professional, amateur, and recreational. The Gran Fondo is a 100 mile scenic ride beginning in downtown Shreveport, covering a winding route north of the City through some of the most beautiful and wooded areas in Louisiana.

Parking

In Downtown Shreveport, on-street parking is FREE on weekends and after 5 pm Monday through Friday. Once the Criterium has started, lots within the race course will not be accessible. PLEASE NOTE! Parking at many of the lots, and all System Parking Lots is NEVER free. Private parking lots can and do charge at night and on weekends.

Spend the day Downtown and experience some of the great things Shreveport has to offer. You’ll discover delicious food, cool art, and colorful history while watching a thrilling bike race along a tight, technical course.

FEIST-WEILLER

The Feist-Weiller Cancer Center (FWCC), designated a Center of Excellence, a leader in cancer research and cancer treatment, is the Regional Referral Center for North Louisiana. As part of a “safety net” hospital system we service a rural core of over 40 sites where screenings and treatment may be unaffordable or unavailable. FWCC serves the insured, the underinsured, and the uninsured.
